SVAA offers youth football and cheer programs to boys and girls throughout the Santa Cruz County. The programs are designed to provide a safe and fun environment in which the boys and girls of our community can learn the game of football as well as fundamental values such as teamwork, sportsmanship, self-esteem and discipline. The programs are headed up by an enthusiastic and committed organization. We also have a dedicated and knowledgeable coaching staff with long ties to county wide athletic programs at all levels. Together our primary goal is to provide the best football and cheer program in Santa Cruz County. SVAA has been running football and cheer programs in Santa Cruz County for many years.

Falcons Ended Strong in 2007!

Both the Scotts Valley Falcon Jr Pee Wee and Midget teams headed to PAL stadium to meet their respective opponents in the championship finals on November 17th in San Jose. The Jr Pee Wees fought a hard battle against the number 1 seeded Alameda Pirates and took an early 6-0 lead in the game however Alameda came back to tie the game 6-6 where the score stood for most of the game. Alameda then took a 12-6 lead and finally a 18 -6 lead which turned out to be the final score. The Jr Pee Wees are very proud to be the first Scotts Valley team to make the PAL Championship finals and congratulate the Alameda Pirates in their win of the Championship title. Later in the day, our Midgets faced off against the Willow Glen Rams to play in their division Championship. Unfortunately the Midgets met the same fate as the Jr Pee Wees. While having a strong 3 quarters - keeping the score tied at 6-6, the Rams surged in the 4th to score 3 more times handing the Midgets a 24-6 loss. This was also the first time a SVAA Midget team had reached the Championship game

Congratulations to the players and coaching staff and also to the parents for their support. Congratulations also go out to our Falcon Pee Wee and Jr Midget teams, coaches and parents who both had steller seasons as well.
